Bogota Plaza Hotel

This is an amazing hotel. Everything was impressive. The breakfast buffet was above and beyond! The dinners I had were very good. The cost for the room included breakfast and in my opinion, was a great deal. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at Bogotá Plaza Hotel for a little over two weeks and had a wonderful experience overall. The service was truly excellent. The front desk staff were consistently kind, helpful, and resourceful—I got to know many of them during my stay, and they always made me feel welcome. The restaurant service was outstanding, especially under Mr. Oskar’s management. He made us feel right at home, paying close attention to detail and ensuring we had the best possible experience. Breakfast was a daily highlight—everything was fresh, delicious, and varied with many choices to enjoy. The location was perfect for me, as I came to Bogotá for medical reasons and the hotel was close to my doctors. However, it’s important to note that while there are a few cafés and restaurants nearby, you’ll need to take a taxi or Uber to get to tourist areas like La Candelaria, the airport, or Monserrate, which can take 45 minutes or more depending on traffic. It’s about 15 minutes to Zona T and around 10 to Unicentro by car. The pricing is excellent, especially considering the level of service, the spacious and comfortable rooms, and the amazing breakfast. The hotel also has a nice gym with a beautiful view. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the rooms could use some updating. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room, especially in a country known for its top-quality coffee, and real cups and glasses instead of paper ones. Small details like having only one bathrobe and no slippers for a room booked for three people stood out. Also, access to the jacuzzi comes at an extra cost. Overall, I highly recommend Bogotá Plaza Hotel and would definitely return.
