Bom Sucesso Resort

Myself and some friends rented a villa at Bom Successo resort this June and I must say it is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The villa was pristine with all the amenities that we needed. The pool was everything we could ask for. We played both golf and padel, the golf course was brilliant but tough as well as a brilliant 19th hole 🍺. The staff were all fantastic and very amenable to any of our requests. I have seen some negative reviews for this place and they must be staying somewhere else as I cannot identify with any of the issues that they noticed. We loved it and will certainly be coming back!!

Unfortunately, very disappointing We had high hopes for our stay, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. On the positive side, the food was really good and the staff were kind and friendly. However, the villa itself was not clean upon arrival. There was a serious leak in the downstairs bathroom, which caused the entire floor to get wet — even the carpet in the bedroom was soaked. The glass dining table was unstable and felt like it could collapse at any moment. We reported both the leak and the table, and were told someone would come the next day, but no one ever showed up. We were also charged €20 per night for our dog. Normally I understand and accept this, but in this case it felt unreasonable, especially considering the cleanliness issues. The playground was also very unsafe for our toddler, with exposed nails, broken steps on the slide, and other damaged equipment. Overall, the price–quality ratio of the villa was far from acceptable. Despite the lovely staff and food, we would not return due to these serious issues.

Do you want to waste your money? COME HERE. Everything falls apart (of course they know it and for this reason they make you pay in ad avance when you arrive at the check in). Once you get in the “villa”, you will be very disappointed: - no soap in the dispenser in the shower - the shower is so ruined that it turned all yellow - on the bidet there was just 1 towel (we were 2 people) - bad smell of dust - the windows were all dirt - the outside space is unliveable with an old and ruined sofa on which you couldn’t seat - THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BED EVER
