Bordello Hotel Bar & Spa

We booked this place as our last stop on a whirlwind 10 day trip around victoria and south australia. Thinking as the rooms are quite expensive we expected to be in luxury accomodation and treated with a good quality service. Instead from the moment of check in we were met with a member of staff (which I presume to be the owner) who was trying to be funny, but instead was insulting, obnoxious and ignorant. The room's were unclean and unhygenic. Our room had the fridge and kettle in the bathroom. Im sure there is a law about not having kitchen facilities in a room that you use for a toilet. there was dead insects on the bed, and the seal around the fridge door was mouldy. at breakfast before check out, the owner was trying to wait tables and cook everyones breakfast at the same time. when my girlfriend waited for 15 minutes to get her order taken, she was eventually insulted for not having patience, and when she said she didnt mind what bread she got the reply was "well do you want cardboard". as we finished breakfast I got a look from the owner, a glance at his watch and the expression "are you going to be finishing up soon". after we checked out we complained at the reception to the lady about the way my family was spoken too, to which i got the reply "you are going to have to be more specific" I said I am not being a specific, I am just letting you know I am not happy with the service and that I had got treated better in lower priced hostels on our trip to which I got the reply "well if you have stayed in hostels then maybe this hotel is not for you" and the lady walked off. Such an attitude to have to a paying customer. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I've been dealing with Debbie which I find very rude and unprofessional, as we where plaining a lovely weekend away that turned into a screaming match about having to put our $50,000 car up for ransom for the room. Now that I have read the reviews I am now so glad we have decided to go interstate, So much for keeping the money in Victoria Debbie. Debbie would have to be the most horrible person I have ever dealt with, which is such a shame for a little town Eucha.... People please do yourself a favour and do not stay there, camp on the riverside would be more enjoyable

Its called the bardello for a reason, bardello in italian means BROTHEL!!!! and that is was! After walking around the hole place trying to find someone so we could check in a man came in from out the back. Me and my partner told the man we found the place hard to find he then asked us "where are you from" we told him Melbourne to that he said "ha! Well im not saying anything" We asked him where our room was after he gave us the key and he told us to calm down and relax and just wait... Confused we just stood there waiting for him to tell us where to go. He finally showed us to our room pointed to the door and told us to have a good stay. Opening the door it smelt like musty smoke, animal and mold... The room was dirty dusty, with coffee spilt all in the "kitchen bathroom" the fridge had brown sticky stuff all inside. My partner suffers from asma so she went and sat outside as she was finding it hard to breathe in the room. I went down to get some fire wood and after finding the man again he told me "not now come back later" As the fire wood is not free i found this very rude! I also used the public toilet when i was down there as it was cleaner than ours and he told me "dont use the bar toilets you have one in your room go and use that" We packed our things and booked in somewhere else (half the price but the best customer service and cleanest rooms ever) I went in and was greeted by a female named Deborah...... The man was rude and insulting with his not funny sarcastic condescending huma...but Deborah is the rudest person i think i have ever met! After explaing to her we can not stay here because of my partners asma and the room being so unhealthy she took my key off me and told me i would not be getting a refund... I had payed in full for the friday night and the saturday i told her She said "no refund for any of it and your not having the key to the room" Do not stay here!!! They make you pay for a room but when you complain they take the room key off you and wont give you your money back!! We payed for a room we where not aloud to have the keys to... I don't advise anyone on staying here!!!
