Borgo Il Melone

Amazing staff that was so helpful when our flight was diverted to another airport due to thunderstorms. We arrive in the middle of the night and they were waiting for us and that was incredibly service minded. The beds are a bit hard, as with all hotel beds in Italy it seems. Beautiful pool area and overall a pleasant place. Can highly recommend!

My family and I came here and got a couple rooms. The location is great the service is great but the beds suck so bad. The pool was great too with nice lounges to relax on. The breakfast in the morning was okay but it's open from 7:30 to 10:00 and when I got there at 9:00 a.m. all the eggs and bacon were already gone every single day. All of the people at the front counter were excellent and helped us schedule taxes and find our way around. A few minutes from this location is a great cooking tour from a local family.

Genuinely cannot understand how this place gets so many good reviews, because it is absolutely disgusting. It's overgrown and dirty, broken glass around the pool that went uncleaned for days, a room that smelled like something died there, a king bed that was literally two broken singles pushed together, and the most unfriendly and rudest staff we dealt with in 6 months in Italy (the receptionist even flicked her smoke butt onto our patio). Don't ruin your holiday - book somewhere else
