Borgo Magliano Resort

There was 4 of us in our party and had two separate apartments which we found very comfortable and the scenery amazing. The evening buffet covered every ones needs and was more than value for money as was the breakfast! Would defo recommend this place our visit was October 2023

Borgo Magliano is a sofisticated camping site with apartments. The only reason they have 4 stars on Booking, is because of their restaurant and swimming pools. Our apartment was so dirty we had to ask for another... The chairs in the kitchen had dust all over... Not mentioning underneath the bed... Appliances in the cupboards and drawers had leftovers on them, and we could not stay. They could not replace the room until the day after, so we had no chance at eating breakfast before mid-day. Pools were ok. Sunbeds were "taken" from early morning, even noone stayed there before mid-day. The rules for the pool area differed with this, but no one seemed to care. Certainly not the pool guard, who was occupied on the phone.. Beautiful area, a short drive off Pittiglione. A real gem. The admin of Borgo Maglione compensated 20% off our dining bill, but since we ate other places, the compensation was nowhere near what we were entitled to. Our advice is to find somewhere else to stay. It's nowhere near worth what you pay. Since we have travelled Tuscany the past 12y, we should know.

Totally terrible experience. Old rooms, mould in bathroom, rooms for 3 adults meant being one adult sleeping on the sofa, low pillows, unfriendly service, poor breakfast with half of the yogurts expiring yesterday 🤡🤡🤡 Location is nice though.
