We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our friends’ 10th anniversary at Borgo Sant’Apollinare, and it was truly an unforgettable 4-day experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredible - always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist from early morning until late at night. A special thank you to the wonderfully kind owner, whose presence and care made the entire stay even more special. And of course - thank you for serving the most delicious Limoncello we’ve ever had! :) The resort itself is breathtaking - nestled in the heart of nature, with stunning views all around. The pool area was a dream, and the food and drinks were simply delicious. One of the highlights was the amazing bike tour and wine tasting experience - so much fun and beautifully organized. This is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We wholeheartedly recommend Borgo Sant’Apollinare to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch service and unforgettable charm. Thank you for making the celebration so magical!
Fantastic time, nothing too much trouble for the staff. Particular thanks to Michele who went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care off. Great location and look forward to returning in the future.
We book this hotel for a weekend. When we arrived on Friday the host were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice layout and a nice view. The first night it was very quiet as there was nobody in the adjacent room. Our room had a pool/ hill view and was located on top of the kitchen/restaurant, but you couldn’t hear any noise coming from a restaurant or kitchen. I found it weird that there were earplugs in the room, the hotel does have a pool but we have stayed in many other hotels with pool and they have never given us any earplugs. The second night it made sense about the earplugs, a couple checked in to the adjacent room around 11 pm. There were furniture being rearranged, doors being slammed, suitcases being rolled around the floor, people talking, I could even hear them opening a bottle of wine. Around 1 am. you could hear them having sex, same thing in the morning. We had to check out the next morning and we explained the noise to the host, he said he never had any complaints about the room and he and his colleague had slept in these rooms to test the noise level, according to him they couldn’t hear anything from one another. The noise isolation was none existent, I think this was one of the noisiest rooms I have ever booked. The breakfast was very scarce and not a lot of choice for the price they charge per room, I would’ve expect a bit more choice.
