It was a lovely stay, the whole place is beautiful end surprisingly well maintained! The evening at the pool was perfect, quite warm and with the right cover from the direct sun light if needed. The room was very big and clean, we drank water and coke from the minibar with no charge at checkout. Even if the main building was in restoration after the earthquake everything else was perfectly functional without issues. Many compliments.

I visited this place on the day dedicated to historic homes. The house itself could not be visited due to ongoing renovation works so the guided tour was concentrated in the garden. We were welcomed by the family who is committed to passing on this wonderful place and it was fantastic to listen to the founder who, with her daughter, told us the history of this place with so much passion. The words and love that this lady conveyed to us were truly the added value. Priceless.

Beautiful house, but as they are all separate, the hotel/house/restaurant interface is very disjointed. Rooms are pretty but you won't necessarily get a room in the house, and the other rooms are pretty forgettable. Not much atmosphere in the restaurant when we visited but food was great. Ascoli Piceno has so many good options in comparison. Pool is also less impressive than photos - now surrounded by high hedges and with a fence around the pool that makes it feel a bit municipal. Most frustrating - wedding party using the garden right outside the bedrooms with band playing from 12am to 2am. I'd have thought that kind of setup would require booking the whole hotel privately. Certainly not in-keeping with the secluded tranquility vibe promoted on the website.
