Bosone Palace

We have stayed twice at this hotel, once in the summer and once during the holidays. The staff were outstanding. The accommodations clean and the most comfortable beds in the three places we stayed during our vacation. The breakfast is delicious. We stayed in the basic room the first stay and it's very plain and basic. We stayed in the nicest rooms the second stay and they were outstanding. We liked the location as it was quiet and yet accessible to all. Our friends weren't such great hill walkers and were a bit fatigued walking the hills to the hotel. But they would have missed seeing some of the most beautiful parts of the city had they not had to walk back to the hotel. They also took taxis.

Historic hotel in an excellent location in medieval Gubbio. Lovely, helpful staff. Beautiful frescoed breakfast room. Wonderful views from our lavish rooms with frescoes on the ceilings and gilded mouldings above the doors. Gubbio is a very switched on tourist town that has remained authentic. Highly recommended.

Nothing really stuck out for me at this hotel as being anything above average. I didn't find the staff to be overly friendly or going out of the way to make my stay ammunition special.
