The Cambridge Marriott is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are very fantastic, modern and updated with plugs for all your charging needs. The location is amazing, steps to the Kendall Square T Stop and walking distance to several offices and restaurants. There is a lot of construction in the area so the view from my room was a construction lot which wasn't very pretty. My only real complaint is that there isn't really a restaurant in the hotel. The M Club which is normally reserved for either people who paid for club access or frequent travels that have elite status, is the only place to eat. Therefore both for breakfast and dinner the M Club is mixed with all other Hotel quests, so it is not the exclusive experience I am used to at Marriott hotels. It is also small for the size of the hotel which you consider all the room in the hotel. I had to wait for a breakfast table, which again having M Club access I wouldn't expect however the food has been delicious. The staff in the M Club went above and beyond, everyone I came in contact with the 3 days at the hotel were amazing, friendly and helpful. Outside the weird restaurant/ M Club situation (which is why I only gave it 4 stars), I think this is the best Cambridge Hotel!!

The hotel is conveniently located right across the MIT campus, with easy pubic transport access in a very safe area. The rooms are nice and rather spacious and the views of the city are great too. The front desk staff, however, needs better training. They were hostile and unwelcoming, often unwilling to answer questions. Parking is overpriced, $62 for valet and $52 for self-parking in a nearby location (not associated with the hotel); being a Marriott, there should be better and more competitive parking rates.

As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I’ve come to expect a certain level of service—and unfortunately, my recent two-night stay at the Boston Marriott Cambridge fell far short. On the first day, I paid $62 for valet parking. I followed instructions and requested my car 10 minutes before I needed it, only to wait 40 minutes in total (20 minutes after a message saying valet service was unavailable, plus another 20 at the front desk) before receiving my vehicle. This delay caused me to miss a dinner reservation I had booked four months in advance. For the premium price, the lack of responsiveness was unacceptable. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast experience through the Lounge was unprofessional. We arrived at 10:15 AM (with breakfast ending at 10:30 AM) but were rushed, with food being cleared early and staff vacuuming and mopping around us while we were still eating. I was even asked to stand so the floor could be cleaned—despite lunch service not starting until 11:30 AM. This is the first time I’ve experienced this level of disregard at a Marriott property, and it was deeply disappointing. I reached out to the management to express the concerns after my stay, and didn't hear back at all... I hope someone at this property will take these concerns seriously and work to uphold the service quality expected of the Marriott brand.
