I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Botanique in Prague and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Check-in was seamless, having completed it online in advance — all that was needed on arrival was a quick passport check, and I was on my way to the room in minutes. The King Executive Room on the top floor was spacious, modern, and exceptionally well equipped. I appreciated the clever placement of power sockets, with five easily accessible points plus an extra in the bathroom. Even better, the bedside and desk sockets included USB and USB-C ports, making it easy to charge multiple devices without needing adapters. The room was designed with comfort in mind: a comfy bed, two soft chairs with a small table (perfect for a morning coffee), and a well-stocked minibar (beer, soft drinks, and orange juice) that was replenished daily — a great executive-level perk. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed, with a spacious rainfall shower that added a touch of luxury. The only minor thing I'd change would be the pillow — I prefer a firmer one — but it wasn’t a dealbreaker, and I’m sure housekeeping would have helped had I asked. The location is ideal — with tram and bus stops right outside the front door, and metro lines A and B just across the road. You’re also close to a couple of supermarkets, plus a Costa, McDonald’s, kebab shop, and a pizzeria — all within a two-minute walk. What really stood out, though, was the hotel’s genuine commitment to sustainability. This wasn’t just marketing — it showed in real, visible ways: reduced single-use plastics, glass and tin packaging, bamboo room keys, recycled paper products, and even a tree-planting initiative for guests who opt out of daily room servicing. It’s rare to see a hotel walk the talk like this. The only slight inconvenience was one lift being out of order during my stay, which occasionally caused short waits during peak hours. That said, it barely detracted from what was an outstanding experience overall. Looking forward to returning soon — highly recommended for both leisure and business travellers!
Great. Big room and bathroom. Hot power shower. Immaculate furnishings and clean. Good soundproofing, quiet room. View of the garden trees. Metro station and tram stop out the front door. And supermarket opposite. Nice helpful staff. Highly recommend.
I had a nice time staying at Botanique Hotel in Prague. Check-in was quick. All you had to do it check-in online and then a quick passport check at the reception, and in a few minutes, you would be in your room. The rooms looked very clean and modern but the view was terrible. Also, the shower could be better, as it looked like mine was broken or something. The look of it looked very nice. I had a safety deposit box, hairdryer, tea, and coffee facilities, and they gave a free bottle of water upon arrival. The service was nice and friendly, I liked the fact that when it was raining, they gave out umbrella's to use and to bring back after you used them. There is a restaurant and bar, but I only used the bar to get some drinks, and the prices were reasonable. The location is great! 20-minute walk from train station, Old Town, and 10 minute walk to the palladium shopping centre. Also, there is a supermarket opposite the hotel, which was good too. Overall, I recommend staying here. My stay at this hotel was nice, I liked it.
