I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and clean. Very big compared to a lot of business hotels. More than enough space for luggage, and even a desk. The breakfast was nice. The staff was very nice and spoke English very well. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel that goes to Fuji Station, which is very convenient. Other than that, I've had to walk 15-20 minutes for the train or bus.
Very rude young man receptionist. They wouldn't allow you to check in even though the room was ready. He kept repeating check in starts at 3 ignoring our questions. They force you to take your shoes off at the reception lock them in a locker and they provide you with some silly slippers . However the carpets were disgusting everywhere in the hotel they haven't changed in decades. Double room is too small for a couple. It was the filthiest room we stayed in Japan. Dust, stains on the walls and the toilet . It needed proper cleaning. Breakfast is appalling but they have a coffee machine at least. I cannot recommend this place.
No phone in room, which means no way to call reception. Yes, no shoes in house. You'll have to clean the wheel of your suitcases before walking in, honestly it makes customers feel so low. And yes, it's great if you expect Fuji view but receive a room the other side (which is half of it) or come on a cloudy day anyway. Staffs are not helpful at all. I tried borrowing a plate and they told me to go and buy it. Great. Thank you.
