I had a wonderful 5 nights stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful in my queries. The room was very clean & tidy, and had a good scenic view. This hotel doesn't provide bottled water or hygiene items like toothbrush, comb...etc however there is a water dispenser at the corridor for you to fill up the water container provided. For laundry needs, there is a self-help laundry at the R floor. At the end of the day when I returned to my room, it was tidy up cleanly. ❤️There is a Louisiana Coffee shop connected to the hotel lobby for breakfast. Just outside the hotel there is a bus stop but I suggest walking further down the road for the bus stop with the arrival information panel, seats & shade. Taking the bus is really very convenientbecause the nearest MRT is 12 mins walk away. You can find breakfast places at the back of the hotel. At night, there is Shilin Night Market & I was there every night after dropping off from the bus ride. Very recommended if you don't mind the distance to the Jiangtan MRT or taking a bus.
It’s a bit far from city centre but the hotel is new, clean, it even has self service laundry room at top floor. It is near to shilin market, walkable distance. And very near to keelong river for those who likes cycling and running. If you follow keelong river right bank side, you can have a nice peek of Taipei 101
The hotel is located very close to the night market-literally less than 5mins walk away. Checking in was smooth, and friendly staff made the process easy. There is an ATM conveniently placed at the side of the lobby. And the hotel provides a basement car park. The staff will ask for car plate number so they can waive the parking fee. The room was spacious, considering it's in the city center. However, there are a few aspects of the room arrangement that I disagree with. The sliding door towards the shower area has been removed, leaving an empty track. Without the door, it's impossible to change clothes in that area when staying with friends or other travel companions. To maintain privacy and respect, you must step inside the small shower room to change. To make the matter worse, the shower room door is made of semi-transparent glass, providing minimal privacy. Your travel companion can easily see how u clean yourself up there 😑🫣. While some countries have an open culture with public baths or hot springs, the hotel management should know not all tourists share this similar culture. A fully closed shower area would be much more comfortable and appreciated. Another issue is the lack of bedside table. You have to either place your mobile phone and water bottle on the floor or use the table in the middle of the room. If you need a sip of water in the middle of the night, you'll have to get up and walk over to the table, which is inconvenient. I do not understand the thought process behind this room layout-it makes moving around the space feel awkward.
