We stayed at the hotel for three nights during the week. It was everything I wished for and more! Honestly, I can’t think of a better all-round experience. From the spa, to all the quiet alleyways, two kids playgrounds, horse riding fields, it’s just great. The rooms are cozy, clean, spacious and well maintained. The restaurant’s menu offers lots of traditional Bulgarian dishes - everything we tried was tasty and the prices are affordable. The staff is friendly and welcoming apart from one waitress that wasn’t particularly friendly but I guess she could’ve just had a bad day. If you want to relax and forget about stressful city life, that’s the place to go.
We were there for 4 days. The breakfast was simple, but delicious. They didn't offer an option for dinner in the reservation, but there was a restaurant with in the complex with very rich menu, and the service and food was great! The SPA Zone was not so big in my opinion, but if you like saunas they have 2 large in there. The horses were very attractive and gorgeous. We had a 2 horse lesson for the beginners and the teachers were very friendly with us and we had an amazing time. The location of our room was very uncomfortable because we were next to the main road and it felt like we are on the highway. They didn't have nice noise isolation, but they have another building with room for guests which isn't on this side of the road. If you are here with kids it might be a good idea to ask in which building would be your room. Or if you just don't want to hear this disappointing noise all night tell them if it possible to change your room.
A surprisingly pleasant place. Built some decade or more ago, it shows its age if you look closely, but seems to be well maintained. Not something that can be said for countless other places in the country that are far more recently opened. It's well designed, not too pretentious. There is a distinct smell from the animals, but they've tried to mitigate this inside. It wasn't an issue. There were, however, two issues. - It's built right next to the main road. Rooms are positioned to look at the road and in the mornings, even with windows closed, it's quite noisy. Heavy machinery passes on that road and they are really loud. - The second issue is food - it's okay in quality and products, but lacks flavor, it is just bland. Prices are high and one might expect better flavor. EDIT: I've tried more options... I would say, it is a skill to create such a variety of dishes without absolutely any flavor. The potato chips didn't even taste like potatoes, only texture and grease. I don't even know how they've done it. The noise will be more of a problem for some rooms than others. Our part of the hotel was closer to the road, so was far more audible. If it was just 200 meters inwards... but it isn't. Overall, I like it. Reminds me of places not usually seen in our country.
