Clean room, advanced online reservation system. Friendly staff and close to the main train station with a rich breakfast
What a lovely hotel! We travelled to Wels by train from Vienna. The hotel is just a few steps from the Bahnhof (local buses too) and walking distance from the museums and the old town. I was a little concerned that we might be too close to the Banhof, I thought it might be noisy, but it was very quiet and peaceful. The staff are professional, kind and accommodating. The room was pretty and the bed exceptionally comfortable. My only regret is that we didn’t have dinner in the hotel’s seafood restaurant. Breakfast had a great selection. Just a heads up - it’s not only the museums and attractions that are closed on Mondays, many of the local shops are as well.
We arrived very late after a long drive, and the staff went the extra mile to check us in at 5:30 am and let us check out late the next day. Rooms were awesome, beds were very comfortable. Will definitely visit again
