Went to spend a bit of time away from the craziness in Gstaad during tennis week, and found this little gem just down the road. Family owned and operated for over 100 years, and the staff are incredibly friendly as well as accommodating. Breakfast on the terrasse is a bonus in the Summer months. Thank you for having us!
Everything was great. Clean rooms, warm people, amazing breakfast (fresh products!) with a breathtaking view! Close to the Horneggli ski lift. Highly recommended.
Quite a nice hotel in Schönried. The hotel is quite old-school styled, and the room (#21) was clean but dated in furnishing. The room faced the main road, and for some reason was overheated to an uncomfortable level, so I did not sleep well for the first night as opening the window meant noise from the traffic nearby. Staff (who were tip-top and accommodating) did rectify this by placing a fan in the room for the second night. Breakfast was nice, good quality products. Wellness room (50 CHF for a 90min private session including sauna, jacuzzi etc.) was also nice.
