The room was clean The service was good Don’t like the bathroom But it was a good choice to have the super jet shower The food was normal but it’s not worth for 4€ di coperto

By US standards this is definitely budget and not what I would call boutique. The bed was very hard with thin linens, flat pillows. I had to ask for a kettle for tea and then supply my own tea and sugar after the first day. I put the DND sign on the first two days and they still made up the room including folding my clothing, throwing out the soap and changing the shower head and room heat settings, closing rhe curtains, but not refilling the tea or sugar. Coffee is good, breakfast has a wide variety of pastries but the ones I tried were dry. There is a bar but it never seemed to be open. Overall, nice stay but nothing luxurious or even terribly comfortable.

Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service – Avoid at All Costs! Our experience at Hotel Boutique Calzavecchio was nothing short of infuriating. From the moment we interacted with the front desk, it became clear that this place doesn’t care one bit about its guests' basic needs, let alone delivering on what they promise. We asked on Sunday if we could use the ironing facilities to prepare our clothes for an important day on Monday. They told us, “Sorry, it’s the weekend, the room is closed,” but assured us we’d have access in the morning. Fine—we adjusted our plans accordingly. Then Monday comes around and, surprise: they refuse to let us iron because we’re checking out. Are you kidding me? We were promised access and planned around it, only to be met with another senseless excuse and zero accountability. It’s not about the iron—it’s about the total lack of professionalism, follow-through, and courtesy. The front desk staff acted like they couldn’t be bothered, tossing out contradictory policies with smug indifference. It felt like a game of "how can we be as unhelpful as possible?" This hotel pretends to be a “boutique” experience, but in reality, it’s a joke with shiny furniture. If you value customer service, consistency, or even just the basic decency of being treated like a guest instead of a nuisance, do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. Never again.
