Rooms were beautiful and spacious, equipped with fridge, good AC, lots of storage. The toilet is separate from the sink and shower. Only improvement could be having a small sink in the toilet so one does not have to walk all the way to wash their hands. Service was great and welcoming. Location was peaceful and walking distance to sights and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at Boutique Hotel Cézanne for 2 nights and had a great time! Everyone from the team was super friendly and always ready to help with anything we might need. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful decoration and all the necessary amenities. We loved the location of the property and the fact that they also have a private parking garage where you can leave your car. We had a wonderful stay and we will return one day for sure!
We did not enjoy our stay at Boutique Hotel Cezanne. It did not live up to our 4-star hotel expectations. There were no toiletries (cotton buds, cotton pads, etc), no conditioner, and no body lotion. The only thing we enjoyed was the location. The reason I am giving it a 1-star rating is because our room’s ceiling panel fell and hit my mom on the forehead/eyebrow bone area, which led to a minor cut and bruising around her eye. The panel falling caused her glasses to fall off and break. While it was not a serious injury, the hotel did not seem very concerned, although the front desk staff were apologetic. We were given some ice (when asked), some ointment, and directions to the closest optician. After checking out, I brought up my discontent on how the staff handled the situation and I was told that a technician had gone into our room to look at the ceiling after we left. I cannot verify whether this actually happened, but if a technician were to enter our room before we checked out, surely we should have been informed. If the ceiling was only checked on after we checked out, that is also not great, as a staff member should have come to assess the situation as soon as we reported it. I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels in Aix to choose from.
