We stayed for 5 nights, we arrived by hired car a bit earlier than planned and after a bit of miscommunication with the receptionist who had no English we managed to check in early. We were given a token and key for the room which was protected by a separate door with security and inside were two rooms, shared space with a cot inside. Our room was on a corner of the hotel so two windows in the room. High ceilings and bare floorboards with rough walls and basic furniture. Plenty of plug points to use, also a fridge and small TV. We had a kettle to start with but that was upgraded to a coffee machine during our stay. The bathroom had a shower as well as the usual facilities. We were given a parking space at the back of the building so always had an off street spot. Breakfast was a buffet, we loved the scrambled eggs, best we had in Czechia. Sausage and fried eggs were the other hot dishes. Cold meats, cheese, bread, rolls, pastries etc. Big area to sit. Coffee machine and orange squeezer for fresh orange juice, apple, orange and grapefruit juices. There were no evening meals, but the Pivovar pub is handy for those.
A very beautiful place to stay at! Rooms with individual design and smart details. The interior is stunning. One of the treasures we discovered during a road trip through Bohemia. Very helpful staff and great breakfast. We really regretted that we did not book a longer stay. The hotel is located only a few steps from the train station, Prague and Karlstein easily accessible. We will come back soon!
Beautiful hotel! We had the nicest room there, big one with 5m high ceilings, just perfect. Location is just right, no problem with parking. Hotel also owns its own brewery, which is at 5min walking distance, in the building of the old railway station, with excellent restaurant and great choice of their own beers! Great experience! 👍
