Boutique Hotel Grahor

Very spacious and comfy room with attractive furniture but slightly iffy decor and truly horrible/tacky light fittings (in our opinion). Lovely balcony with great views over the pool to the surrouding countryside, and a nice quiet location but with easy access to the main road. We hadn't realised the pool is unheated, so it was a shock to find out quite how cold it was! OK once you're in and have swum a few lengths to acclimatise... We also found the restaurant to be really rather expensive, with only a few affordable mains on the menu and portions that were much too big, to be honest. We would happily give 5 stars if those 3 things were changed (more tasteful room lighting, a heated pool, cheaper food) but would still recommend this as a good hotel overall.

We were initially given a room in the annex which was booked by the tour company. Really not up to the standard we expected. We paid extra for a room in the main part of the hotel which was fine. Good breakfast.

Not so family friendly 1. Put in rooms furthest from pool when we had two small children whose main occupation is to swim 2. Asked to bring pool towels back to reception instead of leave in room?? 3. At dinner service so poor thought they wanted us to leave, no children's menu, finally young waiter we were given was nice but maitre de useless 4. Pool cold and bubbles switched off when kids were in, not sure why
