Boutique Hotel Huys van Leyden

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the boutique hotel. Upon arrival, we got a complementary drinks and got a welcoming introduction to the city Leiden from Joosje. The rooms were very beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. The curtains blocked out any light from outside, but we were the first room in the corridor and could cause disturbance for light sleepers. Our favourite part was the location! Absolutely beautiful and close to everything. We highly recommend!

A warm and pleasant welcome with a cup of coffee/tea while unwinding after a trip to arrive and while the check-in is adequately performed. After learning all about the stay, followed by showing the way to the room. Interesting different designs and constructions, all to each other's liking. Convenience pre-fails with an exceptional well filled mini bar (against payment) in a decent decorate old stylish room. During the daytime opening of the reception, a bar service is available. Did not try it, but if I remember well, even a bite is offered. Breakfast looks simple, though enough different tastes available as desired. And, above all, a personal to taste baked egg variation to your liking. Warmly welcomed personal service which add to the totality :) In short, not at all the standard presentation of chain hotels, although nothing bad about so many of them, though ;) Aiming for something different while staying overnight in Leiden, the "Huys of Leyden" would be yours ;)

Absolutely fabulous place! The rooms are stunning. The food was delicious. Service is great! And in such a great location. Highly recommend!
