Boutique Hotel LechZeit

We came across Lechzeit by chance & we were left wandering for more. The location was serene and the rooms faced the snow clad mountains and you could hear the river flowing by. The food was top notch and the staff were kind and helpful.The rooms were modern, and spotlessly clean. Kid friendly with a lot of options for them to explore and play in the premise. We will certainly return in 2024. We were also astounded by the dedication of the owners and their hard work along with their employees. A great team all in all. Keep up the great work folks, and thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

Amazing location, brand new and comfortable rooms, and the owners could not be more welcoming! Perfect base camp for discovering the Lech area. The only thing to improve would be the vegetarian/vegan options (as everywhere else in that part of Austria, admittedly).

We booked for two rooms 4nights for 5people. But we really had bad experiences in this hotel. First:Location is really bad.The hotel is far away from everything. It’s under the mountain without snow. The nearest snow resort is 20mins drive, but that one is closed. So you have to driver almost 40km for ski. If you want to take the bus,you need to walk for 12mins to the nearest bus station. And then you need sit in the bus for 50mins to reach the ski resort(not for free,it cost about 10euro per person) Second: They don’t have any service and wellness. The website shows there are spa and sunna. But the guest has to pay extra 18euro per person to use it. That information you wouldn’t get earlier before the day you arrive. And one terrible thing is they not only don’t have taxi service (pay taxi) but also don’t want find taxi for the guest. So once any guest need help form them,that’s not possible at all. It says 4 star hotel. The money is not worth to stay there. I just saw the hotel reply. Seems like they want to say I am telling lie. The 20mins drive ski resort is closed and nobody. Yes,unfortunately our car broken. Then I asked how to take bus to the ski resort, and I also asked if the bus is free, that woman says “no”,she said we have to pay. Then we paid for the bus. In the end we saw all other passengers can use the bus for free. So my husband ask the driver, he told us the hotel should arrange the guest card, then the guest can use the bus free. But Lechzeit didn’t give us the guest card, they just let us pay for the free service.The hotel knew we came for skiing,and they also know our car broken and then need a bus or taxi.Base on the distance(40km,double way will be 80) take taxi go and back for skiing,that will be too expensive. The night before we leave,we asked for a taxi to bring us to the trainstation very politely. Their answer is they don’t have this kind of service, the excuse is the driver broken his leg. Then we ask her if she can ask another driver or ask their friends,maybe there are someone has the car and wants to earn some money.But her answer is no.This is win & win situation,but she just doesn’t want to give any service. Bu the way ,we need a taxi 9:20 in the morning,it’s not difficult time also.It’s doesn’t matter what we say,her answer is no. We have stayed in so many hotels and have never seen such cold blooded service. What’s even funnier is that someone drove their hotel car to the hotel the next morning. But when customers needed a taxi, they said there was no driver. This is the only hotel without a kettle. Of course also no coffee or tea in the room.
