The spas shown on the booking are only included in certain rooms. There was only a mirror in the bathroom and non in the room this is the same for the bin, the handrail on the stairs is not well designed and can cause minor harm and finally the parking is recommended not to go in by the staff at the hotel leaving only street parking, however these problems are all managable and could be a lot worse, and it is worth noting that there are good things such as, the breakfast is excellent and the ambiance in the breakfast room is good, and it's not far from the city center, these two things along with the kind staff alow a 3 star rating definitely worth it if visiting zagreb
The name of this hotel is definitely not appropriate, neither are the stars. We didn't have a pleasant stay but put of everything I would like to highlight few things that I think are not usual for a 4 stars hotel. We stayed 3 nights, 7 adults and 2 kids in one room for 4 and one apartment that they sell for 4 people plus 1 kid but the space is not appropriate. The apartment with kitchen is very small (maybe would be ok for 2 parents with kid), is not in the main building of the hotel and definitely not a 4 star quality. This little space unfortunately pushed us to use also a common area in front of the adiacent apartment which was separated only by a glass door (I guess it wasn't pleasant for the other guests). In comparison the rooms in the hotel are more spacious and better. At our arrival the rooms were prepared for 7 people and not 9. So we had to ask to prepare a bed. They madr a sofa bed ready with a sheet that was not even big enough to cover the entire bed. Then we had to ask for a new sheet (we got one stained and ripped all over) and do it ourselves again. We also had to ask for towels missing for 3 people but they didn't have enough🥴 After a messy check in we also received a bad checkout were we got charged 3 euros for opening a Kinder Bueno that was offered in a basket on the kitchen counter of the flat on arrival and were asked to pay for a wine which we never touched. It was actually very annoying to have to keep something like 12 mini bottles of booze in our mini fridge while we needed the space for our children's food.
We paid for a room we werent able to use. Jacuzzi died and they moved us to another, smaller, room. That room was in pretty bad condition and the girl on a reception told us that they are sorry and they know that room needs a renovation. Also, they didnt offer to make a partial or full refund, they just said that owner will call us tomorrow but we have never recieved any call from him. Also, breakfast was 5/10.
