Boutique Hotel Rosengarten Hamburg

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Rosengarten. If we ever return to the Hamburg area, we will definitely return. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms were like new and very comfortable.

This hotel is run by fourth generation family members who provide personalized and friendly service to make your stay as special as possible. We landed here when our first night accommodations elsewhere did not work out, and we are so glad we did! The hotel is outside of the inner city in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of the train, restaurants and shopping opportunities, and it is a short drive by car to the airport. Andreas provided friendly and knowledgeable support with any questions we had and went out of his way to be sure our stay was everything we hoped. Nina runs the kitchen, and breakfast in the serene dining room got each day off to a wonderful start. The hotel uses locally sourced and house made breads and rolls, as well as delicious jams. Eggs are prepared freshly to your specifications, and there is a good variety of meats, cheeses, lox and other toppings for every palate. Our rooms had conveniences such as excellent showers, storage for clothing, down comforters and headboards embedded with charging stations, reading and other room lamps. Other personalized touches included energized water and delicious fruit to greet us. The hotel does not have an elevator, so if walking up stairs is a concern, it is advised to request a room on the ground floor. The combination of thoughtfully updated rooms in this family run business, the pretty location within the “Alstertal,“ and most importantly, Andreas and Nina’s genuinely friendly and caring service make this hotel one we hope we will someday be able to return to!
