My favorite hotel from my two week travel! This hotel is super chic and stylish, in a great location, and the staff are so sweet and helpful. When you check in, they give you a map and explain some good places to check out. It was easy to stop back at the hotel mid day to drop things off or grab anything I forgot. They also have free water and homemade pastries in the front room. The rooms are smartly designed, clean, and beautiful. I absolutely loved staying here!
This is a lovely little boutique hotel on a little quiet laneway right in the Centre of Bruges. I think there’s 40 rooms. It’s very stylish with quirky artwork and not bland like a lot of the big chains of hotels. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Julia who checked us in sat down with us to mark out all areas of interest on a map and offered to arrange restaurant /taxi bookings . The breakfast area was beautifully decorated /arranged and the lady staffing it was pleasant & helpful to the guests . Tina the evening receptionist is a great asset to the hotel. There’s a cute little bar area at reception . She served us pre dinner drinks each evening and was so kind , friendly and helpful. She told us a lot about Belgium while preparing the drinks and was genuinely interested in hearing about Ireland . She also booked a restaurant we wanted as it was too cold to go out walking around to look for one ourselves. Would highly recommend this hotel . ( If you’re booking a room to share with a friend , check about the bathroom . In our room the toilet was in a separate area but the shower and sink were in the bedroom area with no door . I’m not sure if all the rooms are like this )
The hotel is well placed, our room was large but we would have appreciated a closet or similar to hang our clothes. Happy the hotel closed the exterior sitting area in the evening otherwise we could not have slept due to the noise. I would have thought using as storage for flammable materials the space under the main wooden escape stairs would violate fire regulations.
