Boutique Hotel Sunstar Brissago am Lago Maggiore

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in Brissago for 4 days with the whole family, including infants, and had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to meet our additional needs quickly and efficiently. Staying with small children was no problem at all — everything was well organized. The hotel offers fantastic facilities: an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, outdoor pool, and private access to Lago Maggiore. Just 20 meters from the hotel, there’s also a playground for kids and a life-size chess field. You can even book a tennis court via the hotel. The highlight was definitely the breakfast — truly all you can imagine! From avocado toast, poached eggs, and great cornflakes to pancakes, French toast, and fresh fruit juice — everything was delicious and of top quality. The rooms were deluxe, spacious, and very comfortable, with large balconies and all the amenities you could need. It was a real pleasure to stay here again, and it certainly won’t be the last time!

We come back to Sunstar Brissago for the 4th time. This hotel is wonderful - hosts Rita and Oliver, all the staff are welcoming and friendly. The suites are tastefully decorated and feature terraces with lake views. There are outdoor and indoor swimming pools and Lago Maggiore is in 2 minutes walk. Sunstar Brissago is conveniently located for Isole di Brissago, with the boat station 5 minutes walk away. Or you can take a taxi boat, which the kind staff will gladly help you to book. Culinary offering is wonderful too - both breakfast menus and lunch/ dinner a la carte options.

One of the most memorable stay in a hotel. The passion, love and care the staff has to serve and make sure you are comfortable is no match to any hotel I have been recently. Dogs are also so much cared for by the owners. The beer tasting experience was amazing as well and you could see the owner and staff were sharing something they are passionate about.
