Boutique hotel Vila Planinka

Wow, what a place! I have stayed in 5* hotels before but I've never experienced such a nice service and friendly staff. As soon as I got to the hotel, they seated me in a comfy lounge and served me a welcome drink. The friendliest hotel manager's assistant Mo welcomed me, explained the area where I would hike and bike in the following days, and even kept me company during dinner (he's hilarious!). When I was in my room, I just lounged on the balcony which overlooked the wonderful mountains. The staff prepared the sauna for me and even served an exquisite breakfast at 10:30 am just for me since I had been hiking in the mountains earlier that morning and couldn't attend their normal breakfast. The food at this hotel is amazing! I appreciated that they practically used only local ingredients like yoghurts, jams, hams, cheeses,... and whatever dish they brought on the table tasted heavenly. Yet the real reason I visited Vila Planinka wasn't the hotel alone, but the stunning nature surrounding it. I spent a couple of days exploring the hills and mountains of Jezersko either on foot or an ebike (they provide these too!) which turned out to be beyond beautiful. I can easily see myself returning to Jezersko and Vila Planinka for more active holidays in the future! Highly recommend it!

Our experience at the Vila Planinka could not have been better! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay and felt right at home. The views cannot be beat and each room has so many thoughtful touches. The food was the best, and we would highly recommend taking a wine tasting class with their staff!

We stayed at the hotel for four nights in late May/early June and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we booked, communication was prompt and helpful—every question about activities, planning, and preferences was handled with care. The hotel’s location offers breathtaking views, and both the food and service were excellent. The staff shared valuable local tips and provided genuine, thoughtful assistance throughout our stay. A special thanks to Mo for his outstanding daily service, ensuring everything we needed was ready and perfectly organized. He was available everyday offering to help and seting everything as needed on time. I would also like to thank Dechen for her excellent communication from booking through checkout and answering all the questions I had.
