Boutique Hotel Villa Blu Cortina

We really enjoyed our stay here! When we arrived we were glad to find that our room had been upgraded to a ground-floor apartment with sunbeds and very beautiful view. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. If you want to rent e-bikes you should ask them and they’ll give you a 10% voucher from a rental shop with very friendly staff who can offer great tips about the trails. Other than that, I’d suggest having a few more options for breakfast and better soundproofing in the room.

What?! How on earth is this hotel rated 4 stars? Everything feels old, outdated, and cramped. The lobby is tiny, the rooms are small, the restaurant is small — literally everything is small. The bathroom is a disaster — outdated fixtures, things barely working, and zero comfort. And the lighting in the room? Dim and depressing. It honestly feels more like a low-budget motel than a 4-star hotel. To make it worse, it’s very expensive and completely overpriced for what you get. It’s just not worth the money. The only good thing is the beautiful view of the Dolomites, and I’ll give credit to the kind and helpful reception staff — but that alone doesn’t justify the price or the rating. Save your money and look elsewhere.

This stay was such a disappointment for me. The pictures and online description were misleading and the quality of the hotel fell incredibly short with expectations. The rooms were in dire need of updating and generally felt unclean with lots of dust and bugs. There is also virtually no sound proofing so you can hear every creak and sound from surrounding rooms.
