Boutique Hôtel et Restaurant Basgi Basgi

Charming boutique hotel in quaint Saint Florent. This was the perfect destination for a first family trip with 2 babies. The owners, Coline and Matthieu, are very warm and welcoming and the staff extremely attentive. We appreciated that the hotel was family friendly while still offering a nice environment for adults to enjoy good food and a relaxing atmosphere as there are only 28 rooms total so we never felt overwhelmed or crowded. After a few hours, we felt at home and had socialized with other guests staying at the hotel. The vibe is elegant without being pompous. We will be back, with or without the kids and look forward to enjoying the Sunday yoga classes next time!

Hôtel Basgi Basgi is a hotel with a sustainability profile, offering organic products as part of the excellent breakfast. The facilities are wonderful with tasteful materials. The staff was friendly and there is a local beach nearby. The hotel is located about 30 walking minutes from the centre of Saint-Florent and half the way you can walk along the beach but the remaining part is along a busy road.

I can only praise this hotel. Very nice rooms, beautifully maintained heated pool. The owners are always there for their guests and provide a very warm welcome. Breakfast there is tidy and delicious with lots of local products. You can have lunch in the afternoon and in the evening they open their restaurant. Here they also work with many local and delicious products. You can also find very nice local wines on the wine card. Be sure to ask Antonio for tips on a good wine to go with your dish. He knows the local winemakers personally and is happy to pass on their advice. And he can also recommend good wines to buy from a local wine shop ;-) Basgibasgi is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy and relax.
