Boutique Palacio Condes de Cirac

We had the pleasure of staying at Palacio Condes de Cirac during our annual cycling holiday. Seven of us took over the entire house, and it couldn't have been more perfect for our group. The house is a beautifully restored 16th-century stone manor, blending historical charm with modern comforts. Each of the eight rooms and suites has its own private bathroom, and the interiors are thoughtfully designed, combining traditional elements with contemporary amenities . Raul and Silvia, our hosts, were incredibly responsive and accommodating. They went above and beyond by sourcing paella pans and a gas ring for us, allowing us to enjoy a memorable evening cooking together. The common areas are spacious and inviting. We particularly enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen-dining room with its own wine cellar, and the separate living room provided a cozy space to relax after our rides . The sunny patio was a peaceful spot for morning coffees and evening chats. Located in Villalba de Rioja, the house is nestled at the foothills of the Obarenes Mountains and is just 4 km from Haro, the capital of wine, boasting the largest concentration of centuries-old wineries in the world . The region offers stunning cycling routes through vineyards and picturesque landscapes. Palacio Condes de Cirac is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that combines history, comfort, and the beauty of La Rioja. Highly recommended for groups, families, or anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich culture and scenery of the region.

We rented the house for 3 nights to celebrate the retirement of colleague and we had the best time. The house was amazing, the rooms were wide and well isolated, each one with its own bathroom. The external swimming pool is not in the main building but it can be reached from an external road within 30 seconds walking. Highly suggested for a big group of friends!

This place is a gem, beautiful setting, rooms and bathroom are high spec and very comfortable. There is a fully stocked kitchen to so it's great for self catering. The bar in the village is spartan and it doesn't do food every night. Lastly the pool and patio really lovely to relax in if it's a hot day.
