Bowood Hotel Spa and Golf Resort

Absolutely fabulous treat 👌 Friends bought us an overnight stay as a wedding gift, and we've just used it as an early anniversary present !! Beautiful woodland drive from the road to the hotel and grounds. Generous, open reception with friendly staff, lovely pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, with various spa treatments available. Delicious food, attentive staff, luxurious dining space. Extremely comfy bed, lots of space, superb en suite, luxury items included.... Gorgeous terrace with classic seating and sunshades, deer wandering on the far field ! A cosy library for a game of cards, spacious bar area with their own brand of gin !! There is a gym and golf course we didn't use, there is entrance to the main house and gardens, also included in the stay.. What more could you want ??? Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came for a few days to relax and unwind. From the minute we got here the staff especially Mitch, have been so kind and brilliant. We stayed in the Mercer Suite, which is huge comfortable and has a massive bathroom with tub and walk in shower. The room was beautifully decorated and overlooked the golf course. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but I've heard good things, the vegetarian options aren't that many though. Breakfast however was a feast. We will definitely be coming again.

We have just had our wedding at Bowood. What a venue!!!!! From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough for us. The whole day went without a hitch. Becca who was running the whole day was amazing. She kept it all running perfectly. If you want a perfect day go there. 5 stars for every aspect. We even booked a New Years Eve dinner dance when checking out as we love this place so much.
