Boxotel Montreal

Stayed here for 7 nights and loved the experience! Very walkable to good eats and CHUM. The room itself was fully equipped with everything you'd need with a washer, dryer, stove, mini oven, fridge, microwave, standing desk, electric curtains -- the works! It's basically a furnished studio. It had a great layout, everything felt spacious. The bed was even a Murphy bed that converts into a couch. This place is very well designed! Also, I loved their banana nut muffins they supplied for breakfast everyday.

This was our third stay at Boxotel and it won't be the last. This "hotel" is not a traditional check-in desk type. You get a code the day of your stay to open the building and room plus the amenities. Nabil provides outstanding service if you have any issues or questions. The rooms are all different sizes and there are about 20 rooms in the entire building which makes it very quiet. We've stayed in three of the 5 styles and the loft is certainly our favourite, even though the 2-story suite apartment is very nice with the rooftop patio and another balcony off the massive bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything from a French press to a cork screw. The bed is very comfortable for a Murphy bed with crisp linens. The bathroom is full of really nice soaps, shampoo, and lotions. There are tons of space saving ideas like the hanging chairs/art. The lights and blinds are all automated, but I still can't figure out how to control the blinds 😐 These rooms are far more comfortable than tradition hotel room and feel more hygienic and clean! The area is quiet with no issues. We park across the street for the $20/24 hour stay and have had no issues. St. Denis is a block away for all your pubs and restaurants. There are plenty of food stores within a 10 minute walk if you need to stock the fridge. Boxotel has provided us a great location to come back to and experience the fun of Montreal.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel was impeccably clean and well designed. Most of it is self serve which made it feel like home. The lobby was always fully stocked with snacks and great coffee and espresso, and the manager was always close by if you needed anything. The rooms had literally everything you need: fully stocked kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, pots/pans, washer/dryer, dish-ware, fridge/freezer, ice, you name it. As a bonus, the entire facility was minimal waste and very eco-conscious. We can’t wait to come back!
