I have fond memories of my stay at this hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and smiling, always greeting guests with a smile. The rooms were adequate. I had a room overlooking the pool, which was very pleasant. The food was delicious, and the staff tried to prepare something new every day. The pool looked nice, but I didn't have a chance to use it because there's so much to see in the area. So, after breakfast, I went straight out and came back for dinner, and after dinner, I continued my journey. The bar staff were smiling and friendly. I really enjoyed my time there. The evening entertainment was also great, and the hotel staff encouraged entertainment, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I've been to Mallorca twice: in 2024, in the R2 Cala Ratjada area, and in 2025, in the Platja de Palma area, and I definitely recommend the Cala Ratjada area.
We bought our holiday from Loveholidays.com and paid them an additional amount for a balcony. When we arrived, we were put on the ground floor with a terrace. The manager has explained this is agreed in the contract they have with Loveholidays. By definition a terrace and balcony are different. I emailed Loveholidays.com 6 times. It has now been corrected and we now have a balcony courtesy of the hotel, we would not have paid Loveholidays for this if we didn't want it. The manager also gave us a bottle of Cava. The hotel and head office have said that they have done this as a gesture of good will. Loveholidays at no time, took control and said you've paid for this and will get it. Be warned! The hotel manager has been polite, professional and friendly at all times, as are the rest of the staff. The hotel is clean and modern, the food is good. We can recommend the hotel. Edit: Loveholidays have now put this right too. They have resolved this professionally.
Things we liked: One of the members of staff was lovely behind reception and couldn't do enough for you she was lovely to chat to. Gave good recommendations of places to see. Things we didn't: Damage all around the hotel - doors and cupboards in room, sink in the bathroom you could not put any weight on as it looked like it was coming away from the wall. Certain lights in the hallway were flickering and it was left that way, bedsheets had holes in them and were not replaced despite a daily room check. The TV was dirty and not cleaned. Flooring around the pool and outdoor areas was uneven and had large gaps. With the indoor pool some of the buttons for the luxurys worked some didn't. Some of the staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. We asked for a new do not disturb sign twice as ours was taken from the front of the door and it was never replaced we gave up. They tell you on check in you would be charge for changes of towels if you don't put the sign out. Luckily this didn't happen or we would have said something. Food was mediocre and not a lot of changes, tasted like it was reheated, some food while in a hot plate was cold, and I was served raw pork at one point. The bar was open 11-23:00 however you'd be lucky to find a member of staff to order a drink. The bathroom doors didn't lock which I do not personally like And the beds are fairly uncomfortable, they do offer massages at the hotel however it is a bit expensive and it's book with an out of hotel company to come in especially for it you cannot book the same day. The hotel and the area is VERY German and if your English it seems like you are effort that they don't want to deal with. All in all won't be coming back and I'd advise all English holiday-goers to avoid this hotel as well.
