Extremely Poor Service and Maintenance – Never Staying Here Again I previously stayed at this hotel and had a great experience, which is why I specifically requested my company to book it again. However, this stay was nothing short of disappointing. Upon entering the room, I discovered that the shower was not working. I called reception, and they sent a technician who confirmed that it was faulty and needed repairs. I tried calling the receptionist again, but he did not answer, so I had to go down to speak with him in person. To my shock, his response was, "It happens. We will change your room." I was traveling with my family and had a lot of luggage, so moving everything to another room was a major inconvenience. When I asked how such an issue could occur in a hotel of this standard—assigning a room without checking its condition—he casually replied, "It’s not my problem; it’s the other receptionist’s." Even more shocking, he admitted that the room was already marked as "under warranty" and blamed his colleague for the mistake. To add to the frustration, he then questioned my room number, as he had apparently received my call from a different room number. Instead of addressing the issue, he simply reassured me, "It happens." While I was speaking with him, another guest overheard our conversation and chimed in, stating that he had experienced an even worse issue during a previous stay—his room flooded while he was taking a shower. The second room I was moved to had another problem—the telephone wasn’t working. When I needed an AC remote control, I had to go down to reception again to request it, and it took 25 minutes for them to bring it to the room. This was not my first stay at this hotel, but it will definitely be my last. The level of service, maintenance, and accountability has deteriorated significantly. I would strongly advise against booking here until these serious operational issues are addressed.
