Great place to stay, super scenic, room is clean and done up really well, shower is amazing. Quiet and tranquil. The lake here is not suitable for swimming or going in, algae and kinda gross, but if you just want the views it’s lovely. All the rooms seemed to have great views. Self check in was easy and great communication from the host. Easy to drive to Turangi to get take aways and enjoy on the outdoor tables.
This review is based on staying at a place that's super quiet with a beautiful view in which case it's a 5 out of 5. Beautiful clean and new rooms. Ease of booking. Amazing views out of lounge and bedroom. Super quiet. 8 minutes from Turangi shopping area. Restaurant next door 5 meters away. I have to say that the beach area was covered in green weed and swan poo so not really suitable for play.
We arrived after dark and checked in using the lock box. Clear Directions and instructions. Room was well equipped and super clean. Towel were A grade. Pleasantly surprised by the views from the windows at sunrise. Highly recommend.
