Bretanide Sport and Wellness Resort

Fantastic resort, with a great location right on Put Zlatnog Rata, about a 5 minute walk from Zlatni Rat Beach. Beautiful grounds with good amenities like 2 pools, a spa, and 10 hours of free bike rental from their bike shop. Getting around requires scaling some steep staircases so if you aren’t very mobile, this could be an issue. The pizzeria onsite was a great place to grab a quick bite if you missed lunch like we did several days. Rooms were nice, clean, and spacious.

We spent a family holiday in this hotel for the second time. Despite a little bit small rooms everything was acceptable except one thing. Ignorant guests (not every guest of course). The worst thing which is hotel management responsible is that every public rest spot in the hotel is a smoking area with ashtrays everywhere. Guests are smoking even during moderated mini disco for kids - this is unacceptable! You cannot escape it, kids swimming pool, pool bar, other bar, sunbeds, outdoor dinner tables. Another habit of the guests is to occupy all sunbeds early in the morning with towels. I was told there is a guy responsible for collecting towels from unused sunbeds but we never saw him doing that. Both problems should be addressed by proper management - or state that this is a smoking friendly hotel and you need to fight for the sunbeds.

I was not a guest of the hotel but I was given a gift certificate to use at the spa and I would not recommend getting a gel manicure or gel pedicure with them. I had my appointment on 16.07 at 16:00. My interactions with the esthetician (Olega) were fine but she needs a refresher on how to do nails. I let a receptionist named Valerija know on 18.07 I was unhappy with the service but my complaint went nowhere so I’m resorting to using Google reviews to make sure no one else gets their nails ruined.
