This was a really lovely stopping off point for us on our journey. The hotel check-in experience was very very good and very friendly and the staff are lovely. Our room was nice and clean and bright but a few of the River. We booked breakfast and dinner on check-in. Our dinner was really lovely we had potatoes, turnip and haggis, which is vegetarian, a meat version is also available. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice with a fan also to help with the heat. Breakfast next morning was really fantastic, the staff could not have been better. A really nice hotel in very nice area.
Amazing stop on the WHW, expensive but delightful. Rooms felt luxurious, especially for hikers, and food was amazing for dinner and breakfast, plus good packed lunches. Shout out to Mr. Miranda for being our most attentive and entertaining waiter on the trip!
Would like to give a special shout-out to Anna, the receptionist. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, always with a smile. Her positive attitude made experience at the hotel smooth and enjoyable. Overall, the staff at this hotel are outstanding, and we highly recommend them.
