Good location and a reasonable price. As with any old building that's been converted to hotel use, parts of the layout and details are quirky. Rooms on the back of the hotel are quiet, but those on the front won't be as the road outside is busy 24/24. Our bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well on a madly hot night. Our shower room needed a good clean, but the shower was good and everything worked. The reception staff were friendly. We'd stay here again because of its location and price.

This hotel was a great location and a brilliant price. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We were on floor 5 to the back of the building- lovely and quiet, larger than expected room with all amenities, tea/coffee and windows you could open- which was good because it was red hot the weekend we were there! There was also aircon. Shower was a bit slow to drain but good water pressure and everything clean and tidy. Very happy with our 2 night stay, thank you!

The only good part is the location. Construction is still ongoing in the hotel. The air conditioning was leaking and flooding the room. I was told I would be getting a new room in the morning, and they would provide a temporary solution in the meantime. The solution was to provide two more towels to put on the floor and a fitted bedsheet to soak up any water that leaks. When I went in the morning to get my new room, they said I would have to stay because a technician was coming to fix it later that day. Staff are nice but misleading, rooms are okay at best, and the general upkeep needs major work.
