Brisbane Skytower Apartments by CLLIX

I was in town for a conference and was overwhelmed by the prices of hotels. I found Sky Tower via booking.com and the price was right, and the location looked good. The accommodation far exceeded my expectations! I had an amazing view of the river, the apartment was so spacious, had washer / dryer and great amenities. And I made sure to use the gym as well! Safe, clean and incredible value for money. I will definitely stay again. So much better than a tiny hotel room! (View from the apartment and gym!)

The reception service was slow and unattended for a while without a ring or phone to call. We waited a good 10-15 minutes and was unsure if we were going to be seen to. Other than that - the room was immaculate it felt luxurious, appliances were new we took the tags off ourselves. The bedding and mattress seemed new also. Everything was considered and provided for which we appreciated. The toiletries provided was hair conditioner, shampoo, body wash and body lotion. Towels provided. The recreational part of the hotel looked good although unable to use as to the pool was not heated. It was however, disability friendly and can see through to the gym. Bbq area was really good by the pool I can imagine this being used often during summer. The distance to the shops and cafes were a minimal walk away. Car park is not included, we paid $35 a night. Overall, I will visit the Skytower for my next Brisbane stay, hopefully in the summer.

Unfortunately the rooms didn’t live up to our expectations. Shower was full of mould and buildup, hair was everywhere as well as stains on our bed, carpet and couch. Upon reaching out to reception and booking.com we were moved to another room which was slightly better, but still could’ve been cleaner. Despite this, workers were always friendly.
