Bristol Hotel

The location is perfect—very close to the station and major attractions. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly, and the hotel offers 24/7 service. The room was very clean, and the toilet was separate from the bathroom, which was convenient. There was no refrigerator in the room, but the simple breakfast was quite nice. Overall, a simple yet comfortable hotel—perfect for a short stay during a trip to Avignon!

The location is nice as it is close to all the major sites in Avignon and is easily accessible by any form of transportation. However, the soundproofing in the walls proves inadequate as you can hear people from other rooms taking a shower. At night, the lights in the hallways are motion activated, but they are bad at sensing when people are there. When you want to go to another family member's room or you want to go out on a walk at night, you have to wander around in a dark hallway and hope you don't fall on the inappropriately placed stairs. The rooms are also inaccessible to people with weaker bodies such as old people or people with disabilites as the elevators do not reach all the rooms and often times after using the elevator you still need to go up some stairs to get to their room. The breakfast tasted delicious and would've been easily very enjoyable had the staff not been so rude. When asked if they could refill the sausages when it had been finished, they dismissed the request immediately. They said they didn'thave any more left, come to find out they already had some cooked and just refused to bring them out. When they finally did bring them out, the staff kept staring and pointing at us as if we had done something wrong. Overall, the hotel was very unwelcoming and I would recommend looking for other hotels around the area.
