A pleasant atmosphere, nice rooms, a very good restaurant and bar, walkable shopping, an airport shuttle, and staff who accommodate those possessing weak Portuguese make the Bristol Hotel a great choice, in my opinion.

Terrible experience at the Guarulhos Bristol. Our flight was landing at 11pm, we had written an email, on WhatsApp and CALLED the reception to make sure we would have the shuttle bus ready to take us to the hotel. The receptionist assured us that yes the last shuttle was leaving the airport at 12:30am. We ended up waiting for nothing after 2 long days of traveling. The last shuttle is actually at 10:30pm (which we only found out after asking other hotel shuttle drivers around) and the receptionist just was confused about the time... We ended up paying a taxi really late at night after waiting for nothing. When we complained to the manager he didn't care at all, the hotel didn't even want to make any commercial gesture to make it right, they were complaining about us in Portuguese behind the front desk while we were waiting for an honest apology and any gesture. Would 0% recommend if you expect a little empathy and commercial spirit.
