Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel

This charming hotel is well deserving of a 5 star review. This hotel has historic character and is perfectly located to explore the sights of Bristol. Everything is walking distance. We stayed here for our daughter’s graduation. The hotel team were so helpful and our room was ready upon arrival, we were allocated fabulous rooms on the 3rd floor which were spacious, comfortable and spotless. Such a lovely touch - a graduation gift was left in our daughter’s room which was a lovely surprise. We loved the on site parking which is always helpful. We would definitely stay here again given the outstanding service throughout our stay. Thank you to a wonderful team and management who strive for excellence when it comes to taking care of their guests. Our stay was perfect from the minute we arrived to departure.

It’s located right next to the wharf and within walking distance of all the main attractions. My room was lovely and comfortable. They provided Biscoff cookies, bottled water, and coffee in the room. The shampoos and lotions smelled wonderful, and everything felt very clean. The common areas were quite grand, and the staff, for the most part, were very kind. I ordered room service one morning, and it was a treat to be wined and dined without having to leave the room. The food, however, was just okay—a bit bland—and I wish they had offered smaller cups for espresso. A teapot for the tea would have also been nice to help keep it warm. Lastly, parking isn’t included, which I think is a bit ridiculous considering you’re a guest—it costs £17 per night. That said, I would still recommend this place and would gladly stay again.

The location of this hotel is fantastic for a city visit, even though it is quite central there is no noise bother. Good quality service and professional staff. Very clean. One point knocked off because one of the power sockets seemed a bit wobbly. We opted to stay without breakfast as this didn't seem value for money but the room certainly is.
