We stayed here over the May Bank Holiday weekend on the Friday & Saturday night. Smallish but inviting building and the staff were very very friendly and efficient. There was no bar food available however the menu breakfast was amazing! The room was very clean, and the shower was brilliant. 5 minute walk to town centre and lots of parking available at hotel. Oh, and a cat to pet outside, so what's not to love?
Great location in Killarney in a quiet area but near the main street. Hotel was spotless. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and chatty. Always asked what we were going to see and keen to give tips and help. Breakfast had good variety. Dog friendly hotel. My dog received a welcome pack with letter, some treats and a chew toy. Would definately stay here again. Could not find fault.
Staff was very nice, BUT, they charged our card the day BEFORE we checked in, which I thought was odd and semi-illegal? It wasnt a hold on the card. They charged it for the full stay. Also, the rooms on the fourth floor have no curtains. Not sure about the other rooms , but this was very difficult during the summer nights to get to sleep. Lastly, on the first day when they serviced our room and took all our used towels, but forgot to replace them. They were very apologetic, but it seems a silly mistake to make in a hotel of this size. I wouldn’t stay again.
