Just got back home from our stay at Brooklands of Mornington, we enjoyed our stay, was 2 nights. Rooms are ok would have liked them abit more cleaner but that's how hotels clean but still was good because they cleaned them daily and restocked on amenities. Staff were friendly. We loved the pools, and my son loved the gym even though it's small but they at least have a small one in there. Close to everything the shops the restraunts. Good for the price we paid.

A fantastic, well present sort of hotel/motel We found the rooms very clean and tidy, the grounds and layout were really good. The availability of the swimming pool, spa, and gym toped of the surrounding. They had two Tesla car chargers available. It seemed unusual that reception closed at 5.30pm. So why the 4 star? It's advertised as a hotel. I fully acknowledge that they also state that no restaurant is available at the hotel. The rooms have a microwave, no pots pans or useful cooking utensils, just two sets of plates and cutlery. While there was a coffee machine snd hot water jug, I think st the very hotel should be able to supply breakfast. All that being said the staff were all friendly and the place was well kept and we would stay there again.

Brooklands has potential, but honestly, the pool hours are a complete joke—and it’s enough to make me reconsider ever coming back. Let’s get one thing straight: closing the pool at 8:00 PM is ridiculous. This is supposed to be a modern facility, yet it can’t manage to keep the pool open past early evening? People work full-time jobs, have families, responsibilities—and by the time we finally get a moment to ourselves, the pool is already shut. What’s the point of even offering it as an amenity if it’s basically inaccessible to anyone with a normal schedule? It feels like the management hasn’t even considered how inconvenient this is. A 10:00 PM closing time should be the bare minimum. Other places understand this and accommodate their members—why can’t Brooklands? There’s nothing relaxing about rushing to squeeze in a quick swim before getting kicked out. And don’t even get me started on how crowded it gets during that tiny window of availability. It’s frustrating, unfair, and honestly, lazy planning. It’s a shame because the rest of the facility isn’t bad. The gym is decent, the staff are nice, and the building is well-kept. But the pool issue completely overshadows the positives for me. I didn’t sign up to be on someone else’s schedule—I signed up to use the amenities I’m paying for. Unless the pool hours are extended to something reasonable like 10 PM, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere—and I know I’m not the only one feeling this way.
