Stayed one night while visiting Jerusalem in Jan 2023. Very nice and modern design and super stylish rooms. Accessible rooms are suitable fir guests in wheelchairs but are very very small so it really depends on how big the wheelchair is. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location next to city center and main train station. Very comfortable beds and high quality bath products. Breakfast is super delicious, very healthy and offers many choices but it’s not included and it is very expensive.
We were 4, took 2 rooms for 2 people. We paid extra for bigger rooms, however it was noticeable that one room was bigger than the other. One could fit a desk chair, and the other did not. When we went to confront with the front desk, he said that the sizes are the same, I asked him how is it possible that one room can fit a chair and the other can not, he accused me that I need to get my eyes tested. Then, when we left and paid for the parking, the parking lot demanded us extra payment even though we paid in advance for the parking. When calling the front desk, no one answered and I was 5 minutes waiting. Eventually I went to the front desk, to see 2 people just laughing with themselves. I asked them why they are not answering the phone, they didn’t answer. I asked them how is it possible that I need to pay extra for parking even though I paid in advance for the parking, they said there was an error on their side and they fixed it. Overall the hotel is okay, but there is a feeling that the staff are not very professional at their job. I added here pictures of the rooms, you be the judge if they are the same size or not EDIT IN RESPONSE TO THE MANAGEMENT NOTE: if the rooms are of the same size, how come there is a chair in one room and there isn’t a chair in the other room?
A simply shocking experience. If you are interested in sleeping right inside a construction site, the Brown Hotel Mahane Yehuda is the ultimate choice for you. After talking to the reception representative, we were told that hotel rooms offer the exclusive experience of sleeping inside a construction site and waking up at 6 am on your day off from the noise of banging. Of course, the hotel itself doesn't even bother to mention this small, marginal thing, and if you don't open the window as soon as you get to the room, you will probably enjoy the surprise effect in the morning. In addition to all the pleasure offered by the expensive Brown chain, the room is designed in a shocking way that is not ambiguous and it is obvious that the person who designed the rooms probably didn't really finish his studies. In short, as a person who has stayed in hotels once in his life, better and better, without a doubt. I recommend staying away from fire and staying there while you can.
