Bryn Llys for the Zip Wire

What a lovely site. The owner Carlo was very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. We had a small issue with getting hot water in the shower- and he was very quick to respond with this and so helpful!! The facilities are very modern and immaculately clean. Location is great for long bike rides and walks/runs. The second highest peak in Wales is accessible from the park itself. If you need to get into a town for a larger shop/more pubs etc- it would be advisable to get a taxi or to use a car (there may be buses too but we didn’t use these during our stay!). We stayed here in our motorhome for 2 nights and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we booked, Carlo went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He was incredibly welcoming, helped us with parking, and gave us a full rundown of everything we needed to know. Such a pleasure to meet someone so genuinely helpful! Our pitch was amazing!!! Fully equipped with water, electricity, and even grey water drainage right on the spot. That level of convenience felt like luxury camping! Now let’s talk about the site itself, absolutely stunning. Immaculately kept gardens, a peaceful lake and pond, and jaw-dropping mountain views all around. It’s incredibly clean, with spotless toilets and shower, and a super accessible chemical waste point. The location is fantastic too, just a stone’s throw from Zip World and the quarry. There are several lovely walking trails right from the site, and you’re just a short bus ride to Bangor. Plus, there’s a Tesco Express within walking distance for any essentials. Whether you’re after relaxation or adventure, this place has it all. Can’t recommend it highly enough, we’ll definitely be back!

What a beautiful campsite. Booked in for 1 night initially but stayed a 2nd as just perfect. The new shower room and toilets were immaculate (though the shower room was rather cold so I only braved it once!). There is a beautiful lake to walk round, and a miniature railway too. Everything clean and tidy, plus recycling. Carlo was really helpful, and it was perfectly situated for exploring the area.
