Bude Haven Hotel

I recently stayed at Bude Haven Hotel and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach and with plenty of cafes and bars nearby. The owners, a lovely couple, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. They were always on hand to provide recommendations for things to do in the local area and to answer any questions I had. The room itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. I would highly recommend Bude Haven Hotel to anyone looking for a charming and welcoming place to stay in Bude. Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful stay!

Had a very enjoyable and welcoming stay. The room was clean and kitted out with a snazzy coffee machine, and the breakfast the following morning was great! We had a late arrival which was no problem at all. Couple of minor negatives, namely that our bedroom could have used a lick of paint (literally!) and the bathroom was clearly quite dated, but that really was it. Great location that's just a 10 min walk from the beach, Sainsburys and restaurants/bars.

Quaint and quirky - didn't get the story as we were only there for a night but I got the sense that it was owner operated, as in the only (or main) employees were the owners. They were attentive, fast and friendly. Hotel is definitely dated and a bit dusty, but clean enough, supremely friendly, appropriately priced and close to whatever you could want. Don't expect the ritz, but not a bad place to stay especially for the price.
