Bugday Hotel

I recently stayed at Buğday Hotel in Ankara with my mother, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making our stay very relaxing. The hotel’s location is also convenient, close to many attractions and public transportation. We were particularly impressed by the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. I'm sorry but I haven't even finished my stay but the power of my room shut off at night, while I was still awake. The elevator too with no warning. (It will turn back on when you press a button.) The Wi-Fi doesn't allow youtube. Frequently, it has no connection. And last the blankets are dusty. Sorry if I was harsh.

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at during my one month in Turkey. For a four-star hotel in the capital, the service and facilities don’t even come close to what I experienced in small-town hotels in the countryside of Turkey. Breakfast is supposed to be served until 10:30, and I walked into the restaurant at 10:10. There was only a waiter there, and as soon as he saw me sit down, he sighed loudly. Not long after I sat down, he started clearing all the food—before it was even 10:30—and didn’t bother to ask if I needed anything else. I was toasting some bread at the time and didn’t realize he’d already taken away all the hot dishes. When I went over and asked if there was any food left, he just pointed at the clock and muttered something. To make things worse, while there were still two tables of guests eating and watching TV, he walked over and unplugged the TV right in front of me. Yes, I admit I woke up late. But if I had missed the 10:30 cutoff, I wouldn’t have gone in and bothered anyone. I came in well within the designated time and was treated like this, without any explanation. The breakfast service was still supposed to be available, so I really don’t understand why I was treated this way. It made me feel like I was being discriminated against because of my race. The facilities in the hotel are also extremely outdated. The power card kept tripping all night, making loud clicking noises every few minutes. It was so disruptive that I had to take the card out completely to get some rest, but that meant no heating and no way to charge my phone. The toilet was another problem—it barely flushed and kept making a loud refilling noise. I ended up trying to fix it in the middle of the night just to make it stop. And the soundproofing? Absolutely terrible. This is a hotel right on a busy street, and the noise insulation was so bad. I could hear traffic all night long.
