Bungalows Key Largo

After our cruise got cancelled, we headed down to Bungalows. They completely saved our vacation. Food was amazing, service was supreme, and the location was like entering another world, free of worry. Special shout out to father & son Dijon who work at Fish Tales! Those two are great and deserve an immediate promotion and/or pay raise. There was also a maintenance guy who came and fixed our A/C for us when it wasn't blowing cold air. I forgot his name.. Maybe Rodriguez? It was a Hispanic guy with a thick beard, a smile on his face and he likes to watch financial audit on Youtube. The only negative thing I can say, which is no fault of the resort, is that there were a few negative IQ having individuals smoking in the pool and in front of the restaurant (same group of people each time, and it's a no smoking property), however the staff quickly resolved the issue. I will be back here with my fiance. If you are thinking about booking, stop thinking and just go for it. I've been in the Hospitality Industry for over a decade, and if I could, I'd apply for a job here.

Our stay at The Bungalows at Key Largo was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with first-class service, stunning waterfront views, and a peaceful adults-only atmosphere that made our getaway truly relaxing. The all-inclusive experience is top-notch — gourmet food, premium drinks, and thoughtfully curated activities kept us more than entertained. The private bungalows are beautifully designed with luxurious details and an unbeatable outdoor shower that made us feel completely immersed in tropical serenity. One thing that stood out was how quiet and intimate the resort felt — perfect for couples looking to unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with anything we needed. If we could make one small request: It would be amazing if the Bungalows added access to deep sea fishing charters directly from the resort! It would perfectly complement the current water activities and be a huge draw for guests interested in sport fishing. Having an on-site boat would make the experience even more seamless and memorable. We can’t wait to return — thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable stay!

The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, the grounds are immaculate, and there is noticeable attention to detail throughout the property. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming, and the food was very good. However, there were several disappointments that made our experience less than what we expected given the premium price point. My husband requires delivery of life-sustaining medical supplies, and we requested that the resort waive the per-package delivery fee, especially considering we were paying over $1,000 per night for our stay. Unfortunately, despite multiple requests and asking to escalate the matter, no accommodation was made. The only “solution” offered was to charge the same fee either as one lump sum or as multiple separate charges, which amounted to the same cost. I asked to speak with a manager but was never able to do so, and eventually communication simply stopped. This lack of compassion and unwillingness to accommodate a medical necessity was disappointing and not what I would expect from a resort at this level. It was also our anniversary trip, and while the setting itself was romantic, there were no special acknowledgements or touches to make the occasion feel recognized, which was surprising. Other considerations: while the property is lovely, there is not much to do on-site, and the entertainment felt limited and, at times, underwhelming. There is also quite a bit of tipping expected, and few non-alcoholic drink options available, which would have been nice to see. Overall, the Bungalows is a visually stunning resort with strong food and friendly staff, but the lack of sensitivity in handling medical needs and the missed opportunities to make a special occasion feel special left us disappointed.
