Great little hotel! The staffs are extremely polite, nice, well educated and well trained. The best part was that they still honoured our reservations after 2 years because of the extreme PM2.5 situation in Chang Mai 2 years ago. Must say thank you very much to the Management for your commitment to a great service.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city, making it extremely convenient for getting around. It’s clean, safe, and well-maintained, with great attention to service and hospitality. One of the highlights is the excellent spa, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel also features a fantastic brunch restaurant that’s definitely worth trying. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
We stayed at the Burirattana hotel for the second leg of our Thai honeymoon in early February and cannot recommend it enough for the level of customer service, comfortable room, and overall location. We were referred to the Burirattana when their sister hotel the Aksara Heritage let us know they were fully booked during our visit dates. We were able to reserve a triple room at a good rate with a beautiful view of the mountains and nearby temple from the room balcony, which was such a peaceful place to start each day. The grounds are super aesthetic, perfectly clean and you will notice how good the whole place smells from the moment you walk in - fresh flowers everywhere and amazing spa quality amenities like oil diffusers and coconut milk soaps in the rooms (I had to take some home with me from the Buri Dara spa shop). The front desk staff were SO kind and thoughtful and even helped us book a cooking class on short notice. The complimentary mini bar items were great to have, and we appreciated having cold bottled water replenished n our room daily. My one and only complaint is that the shower water pressure was weak, and the hot water seemed to run out very quickly but nothing unbearable. In retrospect, we did not need to purchase hotel breakfast in advance because we had early morning excursions planned for most of our days, so we only got to enjoy the breakfast on our first and last day in Chiang Mai. However, the cafe is very cute and portions are pretty much American sized! Location is truly unbeatable - walking distance in every direction to most attractions in the Old City and a short walk to the East Gate. Overall we had an unforgettable experience at the Burirattana and send our thanks and gratitude to the kind staff - we hope we can visit Chiang Mai again soon!
