Heaven on earth! This hotel is so beautifully renovated with the most eclectic stunning design features and styling throughout. The grounds are amazing with so many different places to sit and enjoy the quiet countryside. We made the most of the wellness garden each day and loved the in house massage service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly and a joy to interact with. Would give more stars if I could!
What can I say? Such a lovely place, wonderful views, the grounds are very well kept with its own kitchen garden. The wellness area is relaxing, we tried the Nordic flow session: a great experience, would do it again. The room we had was very spacious and ideal for our needs, spa bath and shower were are treat. And then to the food! We had breakfast every morning and a lunch and two dinners here. They were all scrumptious! And finally to the staff, such a friendly and accommodating bunch. We had great service all round from every member of staff we met. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful setting, great staff. Burleigh Court could hardly be situated better for the views. It sits perfectly in it's surroundings, providing views across the valley and opportunities for wandering around nice gardens and exploring tiny lanes that are probably centuries old. I have to give a shout-out to Tom, Shelagh and JJ/Josh; these three were incredibly attentive and clearly motivated to better the experience of their guests. After we left, Dewi was very helpful in returning a lost item to us. We stayed in the lodge, so I cannot comment on the hotel rooms. The lodge was mostly clean and well-equipped with pretty much everything we needed. We did bring our 2 year old, which perhaps is unusual for this location. The stairs were open on both sides and the hotel did not have baby gates, but perhaps it was unrealistic of us to bring a 2 year old here. We loved the hot tub. It's wood burning, and takes a couple of hours to heat up, but there was plenty of firewood and kindling, and the next day it was still hot! All in all, a great place to visit and stay. Wish we had more time here.
